About the role

This role is a mix of field based work and some interstate travel on a project by project basis. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate strong theoretical and practical knowledge in HV maintenance and switching.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• High Voltage switching
• High Voltage Maintenance
• Recommend corrective actions
• Commissioning and testing HV equipment
• HV Primary and secondary system testing.
• Assist in preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.

Skills and experience

• Must hold Electrical Workers License
• Minimum 4 years' experience
• Valid Driver's License
• HV Switching Ticket (preferred)
• Knowledge of appropriate Australian Standards
• Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
• Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
