We are seeking an experienced, passionate and energetic fulltime Maintenance Fitter with industrial experience to become part of a great Maintenance team. The position is within an Iconic company that adds new meaning to a FUN work place.
This is a “Hands-on” role providing a wide range of maintenance services with a key focus on the preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment. Additionally, you will be required to assist with tasks outside of your trade but within your scope of experience and training.
You must be willing to work full time hours over 4 days per week, with a rotating roster spread over 7 days. Shift patterns will include week days and weekend cycles with some afternoon/evening work.
SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB:
- Be qualified as a Fitter with relevant experience including fault finding and root cause analysis to rectify faults
- Clearly demonstrate a mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working at heights
- Effective time management and self discipline
- Have a demonstrated commitment to safety and awareness of WH&S procedures
- Attention to details and the ability to think on your feet
- Computer literate with word/excel with some exposure to computerised maintenance management systems
- Proven problem solving ability & commitment to safety
- Be reliable, self motivated and able to work individually or within the team
- Strong written & verbal communication skills with a focus on accurate and timely record keeping
Attitude is key with this position as enthusiasm, punctuality and a positive attitude is essential. You will be given on the job training to learn company specific machinery and ongoing support.

- A Working at Heights Certificate
- EWP and/or Forklift ticket
