Our client specialises in the Manufacture and Refurbish of Hydraulic Components for Mining, Defence, Oil & Gas, Agricultural and Heavy Industrial Industries. Join part of a successful and hard working team in the Anode Manufacturing Department in the based in Pinkenba (Brisbane Inner Suburbs).

Trade Assistant - Anode Manufacturing Department

What the role entails:

• Manufacture Lead Anodes as per instructions from Plating Department
• Modify and repair existing Anodes
• Assist in the Electroplating department when required 
• Pour, mould, weld, fit and repair anodes
• Assist in other departments if/when required
• Safe use of hand and power tools
• General workshop duties

To be successful, you would have the following:

• Relevant experience in a similar Environment is highly regarded 
• Mechanical mind/ aptitude with experience in an engineering/ manufacturing workshop
• Experience with mining and heavy engineering equipment (highly regarded)
• An excellent work ethic, a strong focus on safety, and a high degree of reliability and dedication to providing quality workmanship.
• Great safety record
