Amber Fire Services located at Taren Point is currently seeking the services of a Fire Services Tester to join our growing team. This role entails the testing and inspecting of fire services onsite & preparing reports for submission to clients.
Duties
- Carry out monthly, 6 monthly & annual testing on fire services installed in buildings
- Emergency & exit light testing
- Testing & inspection of fire doors, smoke alarms, hose reels, extinguishers
- Hydrant & fire booster pump testing
- Test & check for compliance adherence
- Report writing documenting system faults requiring rectification
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of current testing standards
- Previous experience in the fire protection industry would be an advantage
- Computer literacy including Word & Excel
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Current unencumbered drivers licence
- Ability to coordinate & manage work
- Motivated, hard working & reliable
