My client, a highly respected Toolmaking company specialising in the manufacture of high-end press tools is seeking a qualified and experienced Toolmaker skilled in bench work and assembly and maintenance of high precision tools.
Skills that are requisite to succeed in this role include;
- A Toolmaking trade background or Cert IV Mech Eng with extensive Toolmaking experience
- Ability to comprehensively read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience in manufacture, assembly and maintenance of press tools
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot all aspects of tooling function
***There are two roles available; one is more focused on ability to machine tool components utilising an array of manual Toolroom machinery, the other is more focused on CNC machining of components
