We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Field Service Diesel Mechanic to be based in West Sydney to service and repair late model fleet from light to heavy vehicles and several small earthmoving machines on site and at our Seven Hills Depot.

Reporting to the Field Service Coordinators, you will be required to perform repairs and maintenance as requested by the Field Service Coordinator. The expectation is to be able to work autonomously when required, to have a high skill level to respond to mechanical failures in all locations

You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties in a customer focused manner. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.

As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:

• Be trade qualified with appropriate relevant experience
• Manual HR license
• Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment
• Ability to work autonomously when required
• Possess the capacity and willingness to be "hands on" 
• Be experienced in scheduling servicing of both passenger and heavy vehicles
• Carry out scheduled maintenance in a timely and effective manner
• Have excellent organisational, communication and reporting skills
• Demonstrate a sound awareness of OH&S management principles
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
