The Company:
I am currently partnered with one of Australia's leading fit-out companies who are in search of an experienced Senior Project Manager or established General Manager. They are growing consistently and as a result of close ties to their parent company, have several key major projects in the backend of 2018 - mostly within education, healthcare and research. My client has a reputation for excellence and is ready to take the next step in their growth plan.
The Role:
I am looking for either a well established Senior Project Manager or General Manager from a mechanical construction and retrofit background - ideally operating on projects up to $2mil of Mechanical aspects. This is a leadership role within a well known organisation, so required someone well versed in:
- Full p&l responsibilities and sales revenue management - circa $6mil
- Managing 4-5 direct reports - and growing the team as required
- Coordinate sales and business development for major projects
- Strategic planning and implementation for the business
- Daily operations including project management, OHS, cost control, and financial performance
Experience:
- 5+ years of management or supervision experience within the Australian market
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and Australian Standards/Building Codes
- Commercial construction (mechanical) experience, ideally within education or healthcare
- Experience managing subcontractors
- Experience managing projects including all finances involved
