Cleaning Services Staff are responsible for sustaining a hygienic environment and delivering high quality cleaning services to clinical and non-clinical facilities.

Experience:

• Previous experience working in the health care environment highly regarded
• Previous experience in and understanding of Infection Control & Safety standards highly desirable

Main Duties:

• Undertake general cleaning of areas of the hospital, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, as directed.
• Routine and reactive cleaning as required
• Maintain hygiene standards to ensure effective infection control
• Understand and apply safe work practices
• Responsible for the care, upkeep and maintenance of equipment
• Undertake any other duties as requested.

Hours of Work:

Due to the nature of the role shifts may be on a rotational basis covering weekdays, weekends, public holidays, morning and afternoon shifts.
