Our Energy Division is currently seeking a Clean Energy Council accredited and/or solar trained, A-Grade qualified Electrician, who is looking to join a fast paced, dynamic company and share our vision of becoming a nationally recognised leader in sustainable energy efficiency solutions.

You will lead a small team of electrical apprentices in completing top quality solar & LED lighting installations, for commercial customers, requiring a high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

You will also be proactive, hardworking and dedicated to providing a solution to any task at hand, focusing on system and reporting improvements.

Possessing excellent time management skills, having a positive "can-do" attitude and work ethic, being flexible and adaptable, and working well independently and as part of a team, will guarantee your success in this role.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is permanent full time, and will operate from our head office located in Mulgrave VIC.  You will supervise 1 or 2 electrical apprentices, who you will train and manage.

Echo Group is committed to career progression and see this role as having the potential to move into Project Management within 3-5 Years, getting you off the tools and advancing in the renewable industry.

Key Purpose and Functions:

• Ensure customers receive an outstanding installation experience
• Installation and servicing commercial solar systems, LED upgrades, and energy monitoring devices
• Continuously improve the operational functions of the business
• Provide technical support to the warranty coordinator
• Complete PV and LED warranty jobs where required
• Support the operations team

To be successful in this position it is essential that you possess:

• A Grade Electrical Licence
• CEC solar install accreditation and/or 1+ years' experience in solar
• Victorian Drivers Licence
• Knowledge of WH&S legislation and practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent work ethic
• Outstanding service levels
• Operational excellence

It is preferred but not essential that you possess:

• White card
• Working at Heights certificate
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Knowledge of VEET/ESCI/STC policies

You will also:

• Provide a high level of support, with a high level of accuracy
• Be proactive, hardworking and dedicated to providing a solution to any task at hand with excellent attention to detail
• Be punctual and reliable, have a positive "can-do" attitude and work ethic, are flexible and adaptable, and you work well independently and as part of a team
