They are seeking a highly experienced Electronic Security Technician to join their South Melbourne based team.

Role & Candidate
The role reports to the Electronic Security Manager and involves installing and servicing electronic CCTV and Alarms security equipment in mainly commercial premises. You will also carry out reactive service and proactive maintenance work

Ideally, the successful candidate will have a track record of at least 8 years’ experience in a similar role in the security industry where you will have gained extensive experience installing and servicing CCTV and Alarm systems ranging from basic to larger scale, more complex systems.

Your background should encompass supervising apprentices and other staff, while regular interaction with clients calls for effective communication skills. A positive team player attitude is also an important requirement to ensure a good culture fit.

Other skills and essential personal attributes include:

• A strong customer service focus
• The ability to complete reports accuracy and with attention to detail
• An ACMA Data Cabling licence
• A current Security Licence

Remuneration
Remuneration is easily to market rates and is negotiable with the successful candidate. A fully equipped vehicle forms part of the package.
