The College is a well-respected and prestigious organisation situated on the waterfront in Shorncliffe, north of Brisbane.

The role of the Curator Curlew Park Sporting Fields is to the upkeep of all Sporting Ovals, turf wickets and surrounds, all amenities plus maintenance of all equipment used for these tasks. 

The Curator Curlew Park Sporting Fields is responsible for: 

• preparation of good standard turf wickets; 

• mowing of all playing and surrounds to create a safe playing surface for all sports; 

• ensure all toilets ,dressing sheds and Function Centre are kept in a clean and hygienic manner; 

• be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all machinery used for the above tasks. Ensure all machinery and tools are, at all times, maintained and kept in a secure and safe manner; 

• be responsible for the allotment of staff to do all above; 

• take responsibility for the purchase of all materials and goods required for the upkeep of the Facilities; 

• be proactive in suggestions that will improve the quality and improvement of the Facility and costing of; 

• liaise with the Property & Facilities Manager on all matter of staff, equipment and the day to day upkeep and running of Curlew Park; 

• coordinate the availability of staff to work on Sporting events outside of our normal working hours; 

• take responsibility for the lock up and security of the facilities at the completion of days’ work or any prolonged absent from the facility; 

• arrange outside Contractors to undertake work at grounds when required.
