Our business provides integrated electronic security solutions for medium to large commercial environments. We are currently seeking applications from skilled electronic security service technicians to join our Sydney team on a permanent basis.
Previous experience as a technician within the electronic security industry is essential.
The successful applicant will be responsible for installation, servicing and maintaining electronic security systems encompassing integrated security, access control, alarm, CCTV and Video Management Systems. Our team is highly skilled offering our client's a high quality of workmanship and service through the use of quality products and good design specifications.
The successful applicant will:
- Possess relevant trade/tertiary qualifications
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
- Possess experience servicing, installing and integrating a wide range of security, access control and CCTV systems.
- Preferably have a working understanding of IP networks.
- Possess excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Possess a demonstrated capability of working unsupervised and meeting completion deadlines.
- Possess exceptional problem solving skills.
Experience in the following systems is desired:
- Tecom
- Concept
- Integriti (not essential, but preferred)
- Paradox alarms
- Bosch alarms
- Reliance (Hills)
- And a good working knowledge of major CCTV applications.
Key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Provide installation, configuration, commissioning and service in accordance with customer and company requirements.
- Attend sites to assess customer needs and design and estimate works
- Maintaining and developing high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide timely, accurate and legible service reports.
- Carry out hazard and risk assessments for tasks as per company policy and procedures.
- Must be a team player willing to work with other technicians to drive good design and installation practices to ensure the customers design and security needs are met.
