TOOLMAKER -
This well established Precision Engineering company based in Braeside Melbourne VIC is a large supplier of product to various industries. They manufacture aluminium and metal components with their own in house tool room. Offering versatile engineering solutions, they have become the strongest in their field and are here to stay.
The growing company requires a Toolmaker with experience in designing tools and fixtures.

- Induction and training will be given but you will need to display:
- Excellent communication skills
- Trade qualifications
- Experience in both NC/CNC machines and Manual Machinery
The key functions of this role are:
- -To design, and manufacture Machine tools and Jigs
- -Repair and maintenance of existing tooling
- -A Toolmaking trade Certificate/Diploma with extensive Toolmaking experience
- -Ability to comprehensively read and understand engineering drawings
- -Experience in manufacture, assembly and maintenance of tooling
- -Ability to identify and troubleshoot all aspects of CNC machine tooling
- -Ability to machine components utilising an array of manual Toolroom machinery
- -MUST have at least 5 yrs of experience in Lathe and Milling machines
- -Have an above average understanding of tool design and manufacturing
- -Ability to accurately estimate and deliver results on budget and in specified timelines
Pay will be based on skills & experience + Overtime + Superannuation
