Vesta Group are also the Danfoss Drives HVAC partner as well for new sales, commissioning and fault finding.
Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Vesta Group has an opportunity available for a general labourer to join our enthusiastic team.
Key Duties/ Responsibilities
- Assembly and Installation of Appliances (Cooling towers, Evaporative condensers) Working independently and as part of a growing team
- Attending sites( Most of them in Melbourne CBD) and carrying out works as required
- Commissioning of equipment , filling out reports and forms
- Focus on site and factory safety
- Cleaning, maintenance and repairs to equipment
- Work in Vesta Factory in Keysborough if required as well as any site in Melbourne Metro
- Manage stock in the warehouse/inventory required for upcoming jobs
Key selection criteria
- Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal
- Ability to build effective relationships with team mates and clients
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Be a team player
- Ability to work to timelines and manage multiple and competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organised
- Current and valid motor vehicle license
- Flexibility to travel if required
- Relevant air conditioning/plumbing qualifications would be a plus
White Card, Police check and Working with Children check are required for this role.
