We are Stone Black, an awesome salon located at 247 Glenferrie Road Malvern. You know? The shopping strip in Malvern full of great shops and tonnes of food places which are great for lunch.

Our team is a mixed bag of different personalities, who all have one thing in common - To be good hairdressers and make people feel great about the way they look.

There are also great rewards when we knuckle down and put our minds to it. We are not afraid of challenges as together our team will overcome all obstacles.

There is lot of opportunity for growth with education and workshops from Wella and selected specialty courses when available. You will need to want it though, if you want the most out of it. 

Demands are not over the top as you just need to be a good person who is honest, punctual and respectful. Loving what you do and being a great hairdresser is even better and will see many rewards coming your way.

Maybe you are a superstar already and just need somewhere to do your stuff. We are ok with that if you are, but remember we're a team!

We are open Tuesday to Saturday with late nights on Thursday (it's the norm right) and would love to have someone who is looking for similar hours.

Ideally you would share the same principles as above and you would also be very experienced, like, have lots of 'real world' salon floor experience. Also it would help a lot if you very passionate like 'fanatical footy fan' and keen to work with like minded hairdressers.

So I ask again, why would you be your own boss when everything you want is right here? Security, good pay, annual leave, public holidays, no stress, inspirational colleagues as  the list goes on.
