Are you an experienced Estimator ready to bring your strong knowledge to a new role?
Hays Trades & Labour are your industry specialists when it comes it recruitment in the Shopfitting and Joinery market. We deal with some of the largest and most high end Retail and Commercial fit out companies around Victoria.
Do you have:
- A strong understanding of the construction and fitout industry?
- A track record for quoting and winning contracts within the Joinery and Shopfitting industry?
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with sub-contractors and clients alike?
If so we have the position for you! Hays are delighted to be partnering with one of the leading shopfitting and joinery companies in Melbourne who are renowned for their high end fitouts within the hospitality and retail space. They are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their thriving team. They are passionate about delivering a product that exceeds expectations and have a wide variety of projects to be won and worked on, including; boutique retail stores, commercial fitouts, and high end joinery.
In your new estimating position duties will include - .
- Liaising with internal and external Stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. .
- Reading and interpreting building plans, assess scope and recognise potential risk. .
- Building budgets and formulating cost breakdowns.
- Planning and prioritising multiple tenders, demonstrating excellent time management whilst ensuring competencies and accuracy.
