About the business and the role

Solace Creations is a business that specializes in double glazing - supply and install.  We cater for new and existing homes with a full service from design, supply and installation.

Your role will be responsible for installations as part of a team which includes, quality control and client management. 

We are a family owned business that has been in industry for over 12 years, we work hard but also make sure that we enjoy our work as a team.   We are after a person that can merge in with our existing team and add value to the business.

You will be a person that has attention to detail and is used to working in people's homes.

Job tasks and responsibilities

1.  Removal of existing windows/doors and installation of new ones.

2.  Fitting architraves as needed and sealing up around the window or door

3.  Interaction with clients to ensure they have a good experience.

4.  Service calls as required

5.  Other building work as needed

Skills and experience

1.  Experience with installing windows and doors is preferred but not essential - working with double glazed uPVC would be a bonus

2.  Experience in the residential building market particularly renovations would be ideal

3.  Experience working with a team

4.  Organisation and communication skills - particularly dealing with home owners

5.  Problem solving - the ability to think outside the box - being able to analyse situations

6.  Pride in your work - providing the client with the best possible outcome

7.  Ability to use phone apps and computer technology
