MPDT provides facilities maintenance services from the ground up for the Government, commercial and industrial sectors. With over 12 years' experience providing services in Far North Queensland, our focus is on providing a personal approach to services and full accountability to clients.
We are now seeking Experienced Tractor Operators/ Grounds Maintenance Workers / Chemical Spray Team to join our team for contracts within Far North QLD.
Essential Skills for all positions:
- Current Manual C Class Licence and own transport
- Certificate in Horticulture or relevant field would be an advantage
- Chemical Distribution Licence ACDC (preferred)
- Construction Industry Induction Card (White/Blue Card)
- QLD level 2 traffic management
- Ability to work well in a small team environment
- Punctual, reliable, presentable, show initiative, good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and a quicker learner
- On-going mandatory and random Drug and Alcohol testing
The skills that our ideal candidate will have:
- Whipper Snipping/ Edging (minimum 1 years experience)
- Weed spraying and identification (experience preferred)
- Ride on mowing(experience preferred)
- Tractor/ slasher experience (3 years)
- Tractor/slasher operators must have completed and be deemed competent in the "Conduct Tractor Operations (RIIMP0315D) Course", or have the ability to complete/ UD licence
- Reach mower experience
- Whipper snipping and general maintenance experience (minimum 1yr)
