About the Role
Based in Wandoan, you will be part of the Parks and Open Space team responsible for maintaining Council's park assets.
Reporting to the Parks and Open Space Supervisor, you will:
- undertake a range of horticultural duties including the operation of horticulture plant equipment; and
- put safety first and work as a team to ensure the maintenance of the Wandoan region's parks and open spaces.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- a Certificate II in Horticulture or be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience;
- demonstrate competence or experience in amenity horticulture and mowing activities;
- possess good time management skills and the capability to complete allocated tasks within agreed timeframes;
- be physically fit and enjoy manual labour; and
- be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical and a National Police History Check.
