Electrical Fitter job in busy workshop in Melbourne's North, permanency offered after 3 months
Your new company
This national electrical company is a leader in the Electrical Industry providing electrical service, building technology and quality switchboards for over 50 years. They pride themselves on the national coverage and local presence as well as their safety standard which they hold an ISO accreditation for. They are currently seeking experience Electrical Fitter to join their workshop in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs.
Your new role
You will be reporting to the workshop foreman working as part of a large team of 30 Electrical Fitters, responsible for the, interpretation of schematics diagrams, wiring and assembly of switchboards, following the company's processes and procedures for OHS and working to timelines.
What you'll need to succeed
You have a strong work ethic, be reliable and able to meet timelines, along with the following;
- Experience in the wiring and assembly of switchboards
- Trade Qualification / A-grade licence is desirable but not essential
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Experience working with copper Bus bar fabrication, desirable
