About the business and the role

Looking for a new challenge in the hydraulic industry.

Busy hydraulic service company based in Seven Hills requires an Apprentice Fitter & Turner to assist in carrying out diagnostics of hydraulic systems on and off site and carry out repairs in house of all styles of hydraulic components.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Diagnostics of hydraulic systems on site and in house
Installations of new system and comission
Repairs to all styles of hydraulic components
Testing of pumps, motors, proportional valves
Pipework Installations
Power unit building
Able to work overtime when needed

Skills and experience

Committed to undertake a 3-4 yr apprenticeship in cert III engineering (Fitter & Turner)
A good interest in the hydraulic industry
Positive attitude & strong work ethic
Punctual
Excellent communication skills
Self starter, ability to work with minimal supervision at times
A key focus on safety
Current NSW drivers licence
