About the role
We are seeking experienced and team orientated Heavy Duty Plant Mechanics to join our team based at Lake Cowal near West Wyalong in Western NSW. This roster will be 14 X 14 rotating shifts, to service, repair & assist with rebuilds on Caterpillar mining equipment. Applicants with previous Caterpillar experience willing to work this DIDO roster would be highly regarded.
As the successful applicant you will be required to perform repairs, maintenance and rebuilds on a range of customer machines. You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.

- Proven experience in a similar role;
- Dual Trade with electrical background highly valued;
- Heavy mechanical trade qualification;
- Familiarity with Caterpillar Mining Equipment;
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements;
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills;
- Dedication to maintaining safe work practices and environment;
- Ability to work autonomously in the field.
