The Role

Our New South Wales division is currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team in this opportunity based at our St Marys yard. 

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be primarily responsible for the day to day maintenance of our plant and equipment so as to maximise efficiency and output. 

To achieve this, your responsibilities will include,

  • Participate in the preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant and equipment,
  • Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine maintenance and complete relevant maintenance records,
  • Participate in various continuous improvement and other programs as required,
  •  Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures.

To be successful in this challenging position you will be able to demonstrate the following skills or attributes;

  • Trade qualified fitter,
  • Experience in a similar position within a similar industry,
  • Heavy engineering / equipment experience preferable with a background in Hydraulics, welding and conveyor operations etc.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment,
  • Display flexibility with operations and maintenance.
