We are an established small to medium sized company with a great working team, have an excellent company safety record and a good ethical approach to work. We have a great opportunity for the right applicant to join our team based in Canberra approx. 4 – 6 months.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operational aspects, ensuring job specifications and design documentation are met on time, on budget and quality processes are followed
- Planning and scheduling of labour and materials, to achieve project milestones whilst ensuring to meet the Project Build Schedule dates in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Effectively resolve issues as they arise whilst guiding the team to do their best work
- Identifying any defects, errors or variations in all aspects of the project and ensuring all applicable paperwork and checklists are completed.
- Monitor productivity, complete documentation and build effective relationships & communication with everyone on site including our clients representatives
- Manage & direct employees & sub-contractors.
Ideally the successful applicant will have:
- Trade Qualified Electrician & qualifications related to the industry beneficial
- A minimum of 5 years on site Leading Hand / Foreman experience in commercial electrical projects
- Ability to organise, plan and lead is essential
- Exemplary communicator who prides themselves on developing and maintain relationships
- Disciplined administrator who completes all documentation as required
- Ability to manage people effectively
- Fits well in a team but also has the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Cardiac & body protect experience preferred but not essential
- Familiarisation with the AS3003/2011
- Proven computer literacy including tablet and smart phone
- Positive, can-do attitude with a determination to excel
