The opportunity
Skyline Landscape Services is looking for a Light Vehicle /Outdoor Plant Mechanic to work out of our Sydney depot. The position would involve both mobile and workshop servicing with all tools and equipment provided. You will be responsible for servicing the vehicles and equipment of our teams and provide logistical and mechanical support for all employees.
Your attributes and requirements
Reliable, punctual and hard working
Enjoy working as part of a team and unsupervised
Be able to problem solve
Reporting and documenting all necessary work, service or repairs to a Service Manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems.
Highly motivated
Customer service focused
Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task where required
Strong commitment to safe work practices
Have mechanical knowledge and experience in welding
Physically fit
Current and valid drivers licence
Truck licence would be beneficial but not essential
Qualifications as a Service Technician/ Light Vehicle Mechanical
Developed knowledge of the automotive and outdoor power industry
Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment
Highly motivated
Customer service focused
Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task where required
Ability to uphold organisational policy and procedure
