About the business and the role
Roads and Maritime Services are upgrading roads east of Sydney Airport and removing the General Holmes Drive rail level crossing by constructing a road underpass. This will improve the movement of rail freight facilities to and from Port Botany, and improve traffic flow and access to the airport and Port Botany.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Duties:
• Ensure offices, crib rooms compound areas are clean and tidy
• General labouring duties
• Control inward deliveries
Skills and experience
- Peggy experience
- Civil and Roadwork labouring experience
- Rail industry Worker card.
- Roller ticket or VOC
- C class drivers licence (manual preferred)
Advantageous but not mandatory:
• First aid accreditation
• MR drivers licence
• Plant tickets or VOC's
