Mechanic job in Ipswich working carrying out servicing on a range of light vehicles.
Your new company
This specialist plant hire company has been based in Ipswich for fifty years. Due to this strong presence across the industry, the business is flourishing and are currently looking for a number of mechanics to join their dynamic team
Your new role
In your new role you will be working as a motor mechanic in a small team of mechanics and diesel fitters. You will be required to carry out routine maintenance on all company vehicles as well as fix preventative issues, breakdowns and carry out routine tyre repairs. You will also be required to operate a forklift to move parts around the workshop where required.
What you'll need to succeed
For you to be successful in this role you will need to have a mechanical background preferably working with light vehicles. You will also need to have a current high risk forklift ticket, construction white card and be available to start immediately.
