About the position
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking and trustworthy Truck Wash Operator/Trades Assistant to manage our automatic truck wash facility as well as perform daily manual cleaning and basic maintenance of the machine.
You will be a motivated self-starter responsible for cleaning and maintaining our modern fleet of vehicles. We are seeking someone who is not afraid to work unsupervised in a safe and supportive environment.
This is a small team so the willingness to get in and help others is essential. You will have the opportunity to assist our qualified trades people, provide general housekeeping assistance for the workshop as well as pick up and deliver parts and heavy vehicles around the Brisbane metro area so a truck licence is essential.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements always;
- Wash exterior & interior of trucks and trailers with a great attention to detail
- Assist the trades team with general TA and workshop duties
- Maintaining the truck wash schedule, washing 15 + trucks/trailers a shift
- Keeping wash area clean and tidy
About you
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Previous experience as a Truck or Vehicle Wash Operator
- Basic machine operator experience
- Vehicle or general cleaning experience
- Current HR or HC Licence
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and be reliable
Further information
You will be required to meet Linfox's employment criteria which will include but not be limited to a Criminal History Check and full medical with a drug and alcohol test.
