Marshall Beattie Automation is an established and growing company specialising in the design, installation and servicing of automatic doors and gates. We employ a team of qualified electricians and tradespeople, fully supported by our sales and administration teams.
We are currently seeking an experienced tradesperson who is ready for a change of environment and an opportunity to put their substantial electrical experience and problem solving skills to use in a supervisory role within our Operations section.
The successful applicant will manage our operations team and ensure jobs are completed on time and on budget.
This will include but is not limited to:
- Providing technical support to our electrical workers
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Responsible for commissioning of install jobs and handovers to clients
- Ongoing communication and customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Running regular toolbox meetings
To be successful in this role you MUST meet the following criteria:
- Hold a current WA Electrical Licence and manual drivers licence
- Have substantial electrical experience and problem solving skills
- Have strong mechanical skills
- Have a strong, confident communication ability
- Be competent and thorough with documentation
- Be safety conscious and have a good knowledge of OHS requirements
- Able to work under pressure
- Be computer literate
- Have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise and delegate
- Be a team player
Previous experience with automatic gates and doors and a knowledge of automation products is an advantage. Full training will be provided.
As some of our work is on high security sites, the successful applicant must be able to meet certain criteria in order to obtain defence/justice clearance. Requirements for this may include being an Australian Citizen and/or obtaining a National Police Check.
Uniform, vehicle and mobile phone will be provided.
Remuneration is negotiable and dependent on skills and experience levels.
This full time position is for long term employment and is therefore not suitable for holders of Working Holiday Visas.
