Delta FM are currently seeking a flexible Dual Trade-qualified Electrician / Refrigeration Technician for one of our busy Goldfields sites, where you'll be a key member of the Village maintenance team.
The Position
We are currently seeking a trade qualified Dual Trade - Dual Trade - Refrigeration Technician/ Electrician to join to our Delta FM team in Surat Basin. With a roster of 2 weeks on, 1 week off we are looking for a FIFO from Brisbane or local applicant.
Key Duties
- Responsible for maintaining camp facilities, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, generators and general handy man tasks.
- Responsible for preparing new installations of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems
- Perform maintenance and repairs to defective equipment and testing components
- Perform pre-start inspections and keep audit reports
- Ensure external suppliers, servicing and lease suppliers provide a prompt and efficient service.
- Respond to urgent requests at site during out of hour/ on call periods
To be considered for this role, you MUST possess the following qualifications:
- Current Electrical Licence
- Endorsed Australian Refrigeration Council Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Substantial experience in a similar position (domestic/ maintenance arena)
- Ability to work on-call hours whilst at site
- Current QLD manual Drivers Licence
- Positive attitude towards safety
- Previous experience working remote areas
