About the business
Toolcraft is an Australian owned company producing superior quality components for the Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Optics and Satellite industries. Recent government announcements to increase defence spending have resulted in unprecedented growth, and the need to expand our state-of-the-art facility; currently comprised of 14 CNC machines, including 4 and 5 axis machining centres.
Due to our recent growth, we have two exciting opportunities for experienced CNC Programmers & Operators to join our driven team. You can be part of the great team that produces high precision components for our extensive local and international client base; including but not limited to BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, DST Group, Schneider Electric, Ellex Medical Lasers, Maptek, Thales Group and Inovor Technologies.
Position 1: CNC Turner / Lathe Programmer & Operator
Position 2: Machining Centre Programmer & Operator
About the roles
- Program, set and operate Okuma and Mazak CNC machines.
- Machine parts to required tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintain machines, tools and clean working area.
- Achieve company goals though collaboration and teamwork.

Skills and experience
- Must have relevant Trade qualifications.
- Must have a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship.
- Must be enthusiastic and a clear communicator.
- Knowledge of Okuma or Mazak controllers is desirable.
