Who are we-
Southern States Group is the National Dealer for Whiting Doors.
A very successful family owned business that for well over 20 years has established themselves as a key supplier to major transport companies in Australia.
Our Role-
The key focus of this role is to manufacture and install the range of Whiting Doors and accessories and to service and repair Whiting Doors on and off site.
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar manufacturing role and hold a current Victorian driver’s licence (minimum light rigid licence).
The skills that will see you succeed in the role
- Ability to work as a team member and with minimal supervision as required.
- Ability to use power hand tools.
- Welding/fabrication experience.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to use initiative.
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to participate in formal and informal training.
- Have a neat presentation and be punctual.
