About the business
Prestige Sunroofs is Melbourne's premier provider of sunroofs, leather and 4WD Equipment installation services for the automotive aftermarket industry. Due to continued growth in our leather area, we are now looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team.
About the role
In the role of Motor Trimmer / Leather Fitter you will be a pivotal part of the Prestige Business assisting us in providing a complete vehicle enhancement experience.
Duties will include:
- Removal and Re-installation of Car Seats and Trims
- Removing Covers and Replacing with Leather
- Assistance with quoting
- Occasional specialty or custom work
- Installation of Seat Heaters and Massagers
About you
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in the automotive industry e.g. motor trimming, seat cover installation and use of an industrial sewing machine. And enjoy working on cars and achieving a quality outcome.

Applicants will need a current Victorian drivers licence, a good command of English and an aptitude for working with tools and motor vehicles.
Working mostly on new vehicles and achieving new car standard, the successful applicant will demonstrate a history of experience in the automotive field. We provide a clean, air conditioned workshop where quality people are well rewarded.
All tools are supplied and we are seeking applicants for an immediate start with a view to a long term career with us. Please do not apply if this is not for you. We are looking for people that want to work in this field, not just looking for work.
Salary is between $35.00 to $45.00 per hour plus productivity bonuses, dependent on skills.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:36pm or 7:30am to 3:36pm with ample opportunity for overtime.
