Aquastream has a fantastic opportunity for a professional & experienced Service Technician to assemble, install and service a wide range of appliances and treatment equipment.

This is a varied role, working with likeminded colleagues in a fun, hard working environment.

This position is full time and would suit a person living in Toowoomba or nearby.

Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Installation, Service, Maintenance and Repair of boiling and chilled and filtered water systems in predominantly local and some remote and national locations.
• Assembly and manufacturing of custom water filtration and treatment systems
• Customer Service telephone support and troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting using service manuals, computerised diagnostics & general technical experience.
• Assist with service management, invoicing and paperwork

Your secondary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Picking and packing orders
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Warehousing and logistics coordination
• Light manufacturing including use of power tools and painting.

About You

You will hold either a refrigeration trade qualification or electrical trade qualification or be from an appliance repair background which would include a current restricted electrical licence. Third and fourth year apprentices also welcome.

Selection Criteria

• Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude. (All short-listed applicants will be tested for Mechanical & Electrical aptitude)
• Is experienced in the appliance industry, coffee machine or hot water industry (not essential but beneficial)
•  Willing to 'get-your-hands-dirt' when required in manufacturing of water filter systems.
• Confident communication & interpersonal skills
• Confident, respectful and pleasant manner
• Customer service-oriented attitude
• Current QLD electrical or restricted electrical licence
• Willing to travel by road to western Queensland sites and air travel interstate if required (This may require overnight stay in some instances)
• Good computer literacy
• Current driver’s license
• Forklift license (or willing to complete training)
• Be willing to provide a National Police Clearance and Working with Children check.
