Kitchen Designer
We are a well-established award winning business, supplying Brisbane builders and home renovators with our outstanding custom built kitchens, wardrobes and joinery. Our cabinetry is custom designed and manufactured locally in Clontarf in our own premises alongside our well equip showroom.
Jacaranda Kitchens requires an experienced, enthusiastic, confident Kitchen Designer to join our busy team in producing a wide range of kitchens and joinery
The following set of skills & attributes are favourable:
- Sound knowledge of Cabmaster, Microvellum, 2020 or similar drawing programs required
- Sound computer knowledge with general Microsoft programs (Excel, word, etc)
- Ability to quote on projects
- Cabinet-making knowledge to back up your design skills & ability to read plans
- Confident personal, communication & listening skills to deal with clients face to face
- Design flair & colour expertise with attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as being able to work in a team environment
- Own vehicle is a requirement
The role will also comprise of:
- Drawing up of jobs and preparing them for production
- Communication between Builders and customers including in-home / on-site consultations and showroom appointments & selections
- Colour/material & product selections in our showroom with clients
- Sales targets to be achieved by a driven salesperson
- General reporting & administration
- In addition we will offer other on-site training to familiarise yourselves with our products.

Your skills and expertise as a Kitchen Designer will hold you in good stead for a long term role. This role will entail a base + commission. We will also consider a contract designer that is already established. Work in an environment where you are appreciated and welcomed as part of the team.
