Operating for over twenty-four years, Salon Support has cemented itself in the market place as a distributor that provides a remarkable international brand portfolio and state of the art International and local training to hair salons.  We represent Pravana, Brazilian Bond Builder, Senscience, Bain de Terre, Quantum, Acclaim and Cover Line.   An exciting opportunity is available to be part of the team as a Area Manager / Educator working out of the Melbourne Office.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Area Manager that has the drive and energy to succeed, who also possesses a high level of creative and technical colour skills to share their passion for hair with existing and prospective clients.  Bringing with you into the business is your proven education experience and the relevant expertise to grow and develop business in the Melbourne and Adelaide territory.  You will show a passion for developing new business and nurturing an existing clientele with strategic relationship building, exceptional customer service and a strong focus on business excellence. We are constantly expanding and are seeking a candidate who will fly the Salon Support flag with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.

Ideally the successful applicant will possess the following capabilities :

Sales

#              An understanding of the sales methodology

#              Have exceptional interpersonal and relationship  building skills

#              Demonstrate maturity with a highly-developed business acumen

#              Strong time management and organizational skills

#              Is results driven for profitable and consistent outcomes

#              Strong communication skills both written and verbal

#              Proficient across office application software

Education

#              Share your passions for hair by engaging salons through inspiration, innovation and creativity

#              Facilitate and manage education workshops

#              Coach and mentor salons with personalized training plans to grow and develop their business

#              Ability to manage yours and others visions and purpose

#              Be Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the importance of technical advice, support and

Education in developing brand identity and reputation

#              Have a depth of experience in developing and executing formal training either in a one-on-one or group environment.

#              Completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

#              Impeccable personal presentation

#              Previous Hairdressing Education and / or training experience is a must

#              Strong understanding of the hairdressing culture and business environment
