We are looking for a very unique special person who is passionate, dedicated and devoted in making a difference in a young women's life.
Our daughter is 33 years of age and has epilepsy and a mentality of a very bright happy 5 to 6 year old girl who is very active and could talk all day long. Sadly our daughter is unable to read or write as she has had seizure's since birth, but that doesn't deter her from trying to learn.
Our daughter is full of life and has a bubbly personality and enjoys cooking, movies, shopping, learning and her computer.
- Day to day routine will be assisting with showers, personal grooming, taking to appointments and most importantly being a role model.
- Cooking and baking-occasionally.
We are looking for a person to live in for a minimum of 6 months or as long as possible.
The successful applicant will be awarded a generous hourly rate, depending on experience and accommodation.
Monday to Friday - From 25 to 30 hours per week and every second Friday or Saturday evening. Additional hours are available.
In this position you will be working in a loving family home and receive full support from the family.
We offer a fully furnished brand new one(1) bedroom apartment with all the modern amenities, WI FI - Pay Tv etc., the best part is the home is only a 10 minute walk from a major shopping centre and only 20 minute drive to the main CBD. Majority of the weekends you will have time to do what your heart desires.

Previous experience in Disability or working with children
Must be able to work autonomously and be creative in planning activities / programs.
Current First Aid Certificate and Current Drivers Licenses is a MUST or Willing to complete a first aid course.
This is also an ideal, dream position for a student studying in the following areas as the family offer's flexibility with day's and times to fit in with uni.
This role is also ideal for an overseas student as it gives you so much time to explore and get to know Brisbane.
