What this opportunity involves:

JLL currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly organized Shift Technician to join our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team based onsite in Sydney! 

But who is IFM? – well IFM drive productivity of our clients’ real estate portfolio by reducing costs, minimising risk and creating an outstanding employee experience! Services range from managing a corporation's energy consumption to negotiating lease expiry profiles across a portfolio, manning the front office to managing cleaning services, as well as reactive and preventative maintenance, engineering and safety, and paying the rent.

Keen to join the team? In this role you’ll be responsible for the management of outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, handling multiple projects and daily activities, and meeting deadlines, always ensuring safety first!

Snapshot of the role: 

• Install, remove, rebuild, maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems and related electrical and mechanical equipment
• Develop training plans for service technicians
• Maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices timely training
• install, maintain, and troubleshoot basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components
• Mentor technicians where required by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals

We’re seeking someone who has a demonstrated supportive approach to colleagues, able to lead and motivate, and dedicated to creating a safe and productive workplace environment at all times! You’ll have excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills of which you will be able to effectively build and maintain productive working relationships with a wide range of people, and always be customer focused.

You’ll be able to work independently and flexible in your availability, with a demonstrated high level of technical acumen shown through trade qualifications (electrical, mechanical or related field), and previous experience in logistics or manufacturing industry is desirable.
