1st Call Electrical Services (Winner of Victorian Master Electrician of the year 2017 & 2018) is a dynamic electrical company situated in Albert Park. Established in 2007 we service the inner eastern and inner western suburbs of Melbourne and undertake service, repairs and small retro fit projects for clients predominantly in the domestic and light commercial sector.
We have contracts for the commissioning, installation and fault finding of pump stations and associated controls on commercial construction sites and high profile locations such as the Arts Centre, Melbourne Airport and Crown Casino. We also install, service and undertake electrical repairs on Split System air conditioning
We enjoy continuing growth due to our professional "larger company" approach and have a vacancy for a highly competent, dependable and well mannered A grade electrician.
If you're the A grade we are looking for you will…
Enjoy the challenge of working in many different locations and in many different situations. You will be able to make on the spot decisions and communicate effectively with clients, tradesmen, electrical inspectors and the apprentices in your charge.
You will expect high standards of yourself, and others would describe you as polite, mature and easy to get along with.
You will know how to get a job done on time while working to a high standard, and you will be organised in the way you approach your work. While doing a great job on your own work, you’ll also be prepared to jump in and do what’s necessary to help others in the business.
You will be quick to adapt to new technologies including job management software, payment portals and the new equipment you encounter in your daily work.
We will support your professionalism by providing a fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone, specialist equipment and a company uniform.
Must have:
A can do, helpful attitude
Fantastic customer service skills
A full driving license
A Grade Licence
Austell license
Spilt System AC installation service and repair experience
Red / white card.
The knowledge and ability to test your own work.
The ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
The flexibility to work an after hours emergency cover rota on occasions
