MTCT Services, a subsidiary of UGL, is completing a 5-year maintenance contract for ESSO’s Onshore and Offshore facilities.
We currently have opportunities for suitably experienced trades and related roles to join our Onshore Team. You will perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks at the Longford site as part of experienced maintenance teams ensuring works are executed effectively and in accordance with UGL and client timeframes.
9-day fortnight, 35-hour week with regular overtime available
Generous conditions including:
- Wages starting from $90,000+ for non-trade roles
- Travel allowance
- Pay for all training
- Accident make up insurance
- Portable severance
Responsibilities include:
- Shutdowns, Routine and Breakdown maintenance
- Dogging & rigging loads and erecting/dismantling scaffold (Rigg/Scaff)
- Perform a wide range of Electrical and/or Instrumentation maintenance tasks
- Pipe and valve alignment, installation spooling and mechanical equipment and structural works
- Maintaining a safe work environment by identifying hazards and safety awareness and performing tasks in a timely and efficient manner
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Sheetmetal, Instrument & Electrical, Painting/Coating discipline or Intermediate Scaff & Rigg (min)
- Experience in Oil and Gas environment (preferred) or heavy industry experience
- Time management, organisation skills, with a demonstrated ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability to identify and prioritise tasks and fault find
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate to a range of stakeholders
- Candidates with additional skills and qualifications including ESSO MRC’s will be highly regarded
