The role: Trainee Fitter, assisting and learning from the owners of the business.

Duties will include

• using hand and power tools, sometimes working at heights to measure and fit blinds, shutters and awnings.

• You will be working indoors and outdoors, sometimes carrying heavy loads and always working to a high tempo. Keeping the van tidy and stocked, and disposing of large quantities of packing will be daily tasks.

As well as being trained on the technical aspect of fitting, you will also learn how to deal with customers and problem solve to turn a problem into a solution that gets the customer smiling again.

Skills, experience and mentality required;

• The ability to use tools in a safe and proper manner
• any previous trade training is beneficial
• attention to detail
• to always set high standards for yourself and your work.
• polite, with a friendly outgoing personality (you will be speaking to clients regularly)
• Hardworking and honest with a bit of drive to better your lot, as opportunities will present themselves later.
• Manual drivers license essential
• A flexible attitude to working hours, especially in the run up to Christmas
