The Role
This is a prime opportunity to join our well established and dedicated switchboard building team. Tasks will include assembly, wiring and testing of modular commercial power distribution boards, group metering panels, control panels, junction boxes and the like.
The Person
We are looking for a self-motivated and hardworking team-player, who is passionate about their work and has an obsession with quality. You will enjoy working as part of a team but have an ability to work autonomously when required to ensure that jobs are completed on time and to customer requirements.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a current Electrical Licence
- Have previous experience building switchboards (essential)
- Be willing and able to work 7am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, plus overtime from time to time
- Have familiarity with wiring rules and regulations
- Have an ability to work to schematic diagrams
- Be able to complete manual handling tasks
- Have good English and numerical understanding
- Have a passion for quality & excellent attention to detail
- Adhere to all Work Health & Safety and Quality requirements
- Have own transport to get to and from work
- Complete a Pre-Employment Medical, including drug & alcohol testing
