Austunnel is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced tradesmen for a number of positions across a variety of projects in Sydney.
All applicants must have:
- Excellent attitude, focus and understanding towards working safely, including following all procedures on site including correct PPE
- Experience in the construction or mining industries.
- General Safety Induction Card (White Card)
- Availability to work night shift and rotating rosters
Electricians – must have:
- NSW Electrical licence
- Current CPR and LVR (must be refreshed annually)
- Working at heights (must be refreshed every 2 years).
- High risk WP over 11 metres
- Experience with mobile plant maintenance is advantageous
Mobile Plant Mechanics – must have:
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
- Mobile plant experience (please be sure this is demonstrated in your CV)
Boilermakers – must have:
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
- Mobile plant maintenance experience (please be sure this is demonstrated in your CV)
- Hard facing experience please be sure this is demonstrated in your CV)
- Must be able to pass weld tests in vertical and overhead positions using stick and flux cored processes
Upcoming positions will be offered to a stand out candidates who meet and exceed the above criteria. Please note that even if you are offered a short-term position, it is a great foot in the door as we have many projects that will be ramping up in coming months!
