Our valued client requires an Industrial Cleaner for site located in Wacol, This is an immediate start on afternoon shift (9day fortnight which includes one dayshift hours). Ongoing role with view to permanency for the right candidate. Forklift Licence a must

Excellent payrate of $36/hr on afternoon shift.

Duties include:

• Cleaning of spray booth painting facilities with high pressure washers, and removing excess paint build up from the facility
• Collection and emptying of factory bins into our waste compactor units (e.g. plastic, cardboard and general waste industrial sized wheelie bins)
• Cleaning of the factory floors and aisle ways via our ride-on floor sweeper
• Cleaning of paint trolleys by placing in chemical paint stripper tank and then high pressure water washing

Requirements:

• Fork lift license (LF)
• Motivated individuals who are able to work as part of a small team with minimal supervision
• Safety conscious individuals (the tasks that will be carried out will require the individuals to wear PPE and ensure equipment is turned off before commencing cleaning)
• Proactive individuals who will report defects when they come across them, and will use their initiative with respect to the level of cleaning required based on the condition of the equipment and guidance from the supervisor
• Experience in a ‘handy-man’ type role or other industrial cleaning roles would be highly regarded

Individuals must be aware that they will work an afternoon shift for 9 days out of the fortnight, and 1 day (Friday) will be day hours.

Mandatory pre-employment Drug & Alcohol and full physical test .
