Veolia is seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic Leading Hand to join our Brooklyn based team 
   
You will service, maintain and repair our Heavy Rigid Waste Fleet and industrial equipment to ensure that all vehicles work to maximum efficiency in safe, environmentally sound manner in line with regulatory and Veolia requirements. Past experience working on Volvo or Isuzu trucks whilst not required will be highly regarded.
 
You will have a commitment to exceeding customer service expectations and continuous improvement. With a good attitude to health and safety, you will be capable in numeric and literacy skills, a good communicator, have a friendly nature and hold a Heavy Rigid truck license. 

The hours for this role are 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 1:30pm on a Friday with rotating Saturday shifts required. You will also be required to attend breakdowns as needed.
