About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Portable Fire Equipment Technician for an immediate start. The position on offer is full time and based in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To ensure inspection and testing of Portable Firefighting Equipment is completed.
- Completion of Portable Firefighting Equipment repair quotations upon approval.
- To assist in Ad-hoc and Contract/Project works as required.
- To be available for afterhours call outs on a rotating roster.

Skills and experience
Our ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
- Must have a strong background in service & install of Portable Fire Equipment along with knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards.
- Portable Fire Equipment, Fire Hydrants and Hose Reels Licence (essential).
- Emergency Lighting Licence (essential).
- Fire detection, alarm & warning systems licence (Preferred but not essential).
- Current Australian drivers licence.
- Must hold a current National Police check.
- Excellent level of customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Any other licences and qualifications held would be an advantage.
