Volvo Group Australia has a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and proactive Facility Maintenance Coordinator to join our Dealership located in Pinkenba. In this newly created role, you will work closely with our parts team to coordinate and maintain an efficient warranty parts register. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the Dealership housekeeping is maintained and all equipment is in a workable condition ready for daily operations.
About the role:
- Administer the daily registration of all warranty parts for disposal and return to Head Office
- Inspect, maintain and clean all site equipment to ensure compliant with OHS practices and is in a workable order
- Report to Management any defects and damages within the workshop and Dealership
- Complete daily checks and tagging of warranty parts from the designated area in Stores
- Ensure the cleanliness of internal and external general work areas including walkways, communal areas and surroundings
- Assist in delivery of new and used vehicles including the collection and delivery of customer vehicles as required
- Complete yard checks on stock vehicles
- Undertake yard duties, including truck detailing as required
- Consistently demonstrate safe work practices and report any hazards or incidents identified.
About you:
- Previous experience with workshop tooling, their use, and identification
- Knowledge of maintaining machinery and their safety requirements
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Proven experience working in a retail or customer service environment
- Possess a valid and clean QLD HR Truck Licence
- Communicate effectively with others with honestly, openness and respect
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities within the Dealership
- Excellent organisational skills and hold a proactive approach to team work
- Solid time management skills, with a flexible approach to work commitments.
