Our client, locally owned Northern Territory company supplying services to the mining, civil and construction industries is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join a very busy customer focused sales team, finding innovative solutions to problems.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist customers to find innovative solutions to problems using Hosepower products and materials
• Meet front counter customer needs with basic hose making, hose testing and picking orders and parts
• Prepare quotes, proposals and process sales
• Maintain and develop relationships with all assigned customers

Skills and Experience

• Strong and demonstrated commitment to customer service
• Mechanic or trade background beneficial
• Previous experience in spare parts or automotive industry with willingness to learn
• Ability to be a team player in a very quick paced technical environment
• A pleasant telephone manner
• Current “C” Class drivers licence
• Forklift licence preferable
• Computer proficient
• Hose sales experience highly regarded
