Expressions of interest for up and coming FMCG Electricians.
You must hold the following skills, attributes and qualifications:
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Experience in Electrical Service and Maintenance is ESSENTIAL - including PLCs and Control Wiring experience, on a food production plant
- Minimum 5 years post trade experience
- Construction Industry White/Blue Card
- LVR &CPR Current
- Qfever shot an advantage
- Be able to pass a medical prior to start & random Drug & Alcohol
- Demonstrated knowledge of Industry Standards and Safe Work Practices
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate exceptional safety behaviour
- Own basic hand tools of the trade
- PPE , including Hi Vis cotton drill shirt and long pants steel caps
- Be willing and able to pass a pre-employment & random drug and alcohol & medical.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid Driver's licence - please note that due to some of job locations public transport may not be available
Service and Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities include:
- Preventative maintenance across a range of industrial food plants
- Breakdown service, fault diagnoses, repairs, testing and commissioning for commercial and industrial food site
- Switchboard repairs, testing and commissioning
- Working knowledge of PLCs and control wiring
- Ensure high quality workmanship while maintaining company standards, maintenance service reports, relevant safety and compliance documentation
- Communicate effectively with manager and colleagues across all levels
