QUALIFIED AUTOMOTIVE SPRAY PAINTER NEEDED NOW!
Our client is a leading Australian logistics company specifically focussed on vehicle pre-delivery processing.
The are currently looking at adding a qualified spray painter to their team located at the Port of Brisbane.
You will be required to work on brand new vehicles located in their compound ranging from light commercial to fleet cars.
This is a casual ongoing position working a 38hr week with the opportunity for full time employment for the right candidate. You will be required to work Monday to Friday starting at 6.30am and finishing at 2.30pm with overtime as operationally required.
This position is paying between $30 and $35 per hour depending on experience.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Preparing vehicles and vehicle surfaces for painting
- Removal and installation of vehicle components
- Spray painting of vehicles
- Repairing of minor imperfections on panels
- Movement of vehicles
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Trade qualified automotive spray painter
- Previous automotive experience in either a workshop or dealership
- Current & valid open class drivers licence with ability to drive manual - Licence checks conducted prior to employment
- Provide relevant work referees for the last 2 years of work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Physically fit to complete all tasks
